Mobetta Loretta: Music
Entwined & In Kind
(Mobetta Loretta)

Music & Lyrics by Loretta Chacon with Sean Johnson
"Entwined & In Kind" was written through the voice of my great aunt, Virginia Chacon. She was instrumental in the strike against the Empire Zinc Company. With child, she marched on the picket line for 15 months.
The song expresses the sentiments of a dialogue between husband and wife.
Face the wonderment, in my heart living.
Whisper in my ear, you’re gonna come home.
Lay your head, upon my breast.
Hear the beating of my heart.
Chorus
Entwined and in kind.
For you are my love.
It keeps me going.
It keeps me knowing.
You’re gonna walk through that door again.
I’m gonna walk through that door again.
Place my hand upon your belly.
Feel the kicking of our love.
Lose yourself in the rhythm,
Before I go.
Chorus
You don’t know how I wonder.
If you’ll be okay.
Deep down in that old mine shaft,
Are you coming back to me today?
Chorus
Am I gonna feel your lips against mine?
Melt into your embrace.
Will I look into your eyes,
And see myself?
Chorus
